About Us

Docklands School of Motoring was started by Trevor Philpot in 1987 after working for one of Britains Oldest and biggest privately owned schools in the UK since 1974.

After over 10 years - working with this school, most of Trevors work came by way of word of mouth recommendation. so it was decided to open Docklands School of Motoring to offer a more personal service.

Although serious about road safety, we also believe that learning to drive should be an enjoyable experience and we aim to leave our pupils looking forward to their next lesson. After all, the more you enjoy your driving lessons, the quicker you learn. We look forward to hearing from you and hope to make your journey from novice to experienced driver an enjoyable one.
